I must present the same credit card used for booking at check-in?
I'm flying internationally tomorrow from LA to Taiwan on Eva Air, and on the airline's website's check-in information, I read that I must present the same credit card used for booking at check-in. However, my mom booked the flight for me (I'm flying solo) with her card, so this won't be possible. Is this going to be a problem? I'm now worried and paranoid I won't be able to check in.
Call EVA and tell them what the situation is. Of the airlines that do require the credit card used for purchase online be presented, they have different procedures to allow you to board the flight. One airline I use frequently, requires that you fax them signed copies of the credit card and id of the credit card holder, other airlines may ask that the credit card holder present themselves at an airline ticket office to verify their identity.
This is all done to prevent credit card fraud and unauthorized use, call EVA, and find out exactly what their policy is.
