What color tie should I wear?
I'm graduating from university this month and will begin interviewing for jobs very soon. I can't afford a suit (and my line of work doesn't require me to wear one often), so this is what I'll be wearing:
Navy blazer with navy buttons (not brass)
White dress shirt
Grey pants
Black belt
Black shoes/socks
I don't know what color tie would look nice. I don't want to wear a navy or blue tie (too much hassle matching colors). I'm thinking either a red or orange tie. The orange would be pale or peach. Something close to this:

If it matters, I'm a 22 y/o male applying for an entry-level RN (nurse) position. I'm short and generally unassuming. I'd like to project confidence, assertiveness, and competency while still remaining calm, caring, and compassionate.
Don't wear red. Most people would care, but on the off chance that the person that's interviewing you is really old school, Red is supposed to project aggressiveness and undue confidence.
A pale orange tie would look good, as would a pale pink. I know you don't want blue, but an ice blue color would look great with that combination as well.
