Over pronator with Nike free?
I am an over-pronator and at the moment I'm running with Nike Air Equalon +4's. I like their performance but not their looks. I really like the Nike Free 5.0's, so I was wondering if anyone knew if I put in over-pronator insoles would the shoes lose any of their effectiveness? I ask because it says the shoes are supposed to simulate running barefoot through grass. Would I get the same feel if I have different insoles in them?
I always suggest practicality first, looks second. Pronation can change with time and experience so don't bank on anything as solid. I have tried running in free's and it felt like my feet were flopping all over the place. As far as I know, they haven't come out with anything effective for over pronators for the free. I suggest to try the Structure Triax if you haven't already. That's one of the ones in my rotation and I do overpronate a little when I do slower runs.
