One Retro Running
is it possible to have more than one operating system on my computer?
i already run vista and i was thinking of downloading ms-dos because i like retro computers.......if i download it will it delete all my vista files? and if not how can i switch back to vista when im done? thanks.
It doesn't work like that. U may install as many OS as u want as long as u don't run out of primary partitions ....that's using dual boot ....I'm not sure but if u create an extended partition and many logical partitions it won't work ...anyway U can only create 4 primary partitions .....and if ur planning to install linux make sure u create that extended one before creating those 4......cause u need to create the / (root) partition ...then if u plan to change the distro ...a /home one will do u good ....Anyway there's a better way to go for newbies ( VIRTUAL MACHINES) ....use WMware software to create virtual machines and install as many OS's u want ...see the first method it's a bit rare if u never did that ...and then it comes the boot manager and stuff like that
