White cotton shirt been dyed from blue sweater? HELP?
So I have a mens shirt, white, cotton. Accidentally got put in the wash with a blue sweater. It's been dyed light blue. Even all over, light tint.
HOW do i fix this?
Since it's an all-white shirt, toss it back into the wash and use the hottest water possible. You could add bleach or color safe bleach to the water, too (just make sure you completely dissolve the bleach into the hot water before you put the shirt in there). You might have to wash it like this a few times to get all the dye out, but it should lift quickly.
