How do I lighten India Ink?
Besides using water. I need to lighten it a bit more than that, to about a dark to midtone gray. Will acrylic paint be alright? If not what do you suggest? Is there a white India ink...? (this may seem like a stupid question but I've only ever seen it in black) I'll be using this on plastic and applying it with a nib so it'll have to be fairly liquid. I'm not too worried about it scratching off so long as it will stay on if nothing touches it.
"Winsor & Newton" make a white ink (I don't think its indian ink, as Indian ink usually implies that it is black, but you can mix this white ink with other inks)
otherwise just use white acrylic paint with some water to make it runny enough.
